Following are two famous lines from the last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar, which is supposed to have been recited by him during his last days in jail in Rangoon -

ग़ाज़ियों में बू रहेगी जब तलक ईमान की,
तख़्त-ए-लंदन तक चलेगी तेग़ हिन्दुस्तान की ।

(So long as warriors are honest, the sword of India would reach upto the throne of London)

Now, this had probably come as a reaction to a couplet that one of the guards of the jail had framed making a mockery of the fight against British. I do not rememeber the whole of it and this is what I am desperately looking for. I am writing below what I remember; if someone could fill up the blanks it would be great.

दमदमे में दम नहीं है ख़ैर माँगो जान की
ऐ ज़फ़र, अब .......... हिन्दुस्तान की ।
