Where do I belong?
"But I don't belong here, not any more. May be I never did really, or I wouldn't have been so ready to go off to..... I don't know where I belong, Rhett. I don't even feel at home any more when I go to Tara."

A passing thought...But how many know their "I" enough to comment on where it belongs?

My God! Ayan - you would nullify any meaning, if one existed, in my whole blog (and its pretty much a huge one) by asking one such question
Domain of philosophy is still beyond me and I invariably end up accepting my defeat there. People I talk of are physical and psychological people. I talk of the "I" that is identified by what I do and think. Same for other people. It might be shallow, but within my limits, it works.
If some readers find me inconsistent here - since I do sometimes talk of asking "philosophical" questions, let me clarify it like this. It is not difficult to see that those questions are not really "philosophical" in the sense of pertaining to the subject/area/realm of philosophy as such. Most of the time when I talk of philosophy, it means principles or life-style. It is still the physical, psychological and sociological human and human life that I am talking!

Take the other view.Ayan's comment may not be nullifying your blog. His simple but powerful question is strengthening it again. Almost every self-conscious person will ask the same question "Where Do I belong".And Ayan is among them too.

Gravatar "Do not keep saying to yourself, if you can possibly avoid it, 'But how can it be like that?' because you will get 'down the drain' into a blind alley from which nobody has yet escaped.
Yet it does not do harm to the mystery to know a little about it. Far more marvelous is the truth than any artists of the past imagined!"

Gravatar Ayan:I agree
In parallel he again says:
"We are at the very beginning of time for the human race. It is not unreasonable that we grapple with problems. But there are tens of thousands of years in the future. Our esponsibility is to do what we can, learn what we can, improve the solutions, and pass them on."
