The interesting phenomenon with all the institutes, getting into which is "tough", is the clash of abilities that happens when people get into them. If I summarize in one sentence, all the toppers of the schools get into IITs and all the best orators of the colleges get into IIMs. But the fun comes when they get in. The process of humbling starts off. Suddenly they realize that they are not to be the toppers necessarily or that they are not the chosen one who can speak/compere/claim-to-know-what-it-is-like-to-stand-up-to-audience. Its interesting and particularly interesting to me was this parallel in the phenomenon with different abilities as its target for IIT and IIM.

World has some patterns, indeed!
