I was at IITK last weekend. While visiting Vaibhav in his room in the new RA hostel (in case you are wondering why it was important to mention new RA hostel, well because its new and almost luxuriously new :-) ), we were told an interesting real life joke by BD. He did not know that there is an IIM in Lucknow. There is some institute in Lucknow, which calls itself IIT Lucknow; IIT seems to be standing for Institute of Information Technology or something like that. Now, BD was visiting a friend who happened to be studying in this college. He noticed the name of the college and was surprised. The friend explained the situation. Later he had to visit some relative and on the way he noticed a board which said IIM Lucknow. No need to say he was appalled at what kind of city Lucknow is and to what extent people can go on copying the names of eminent institutes :-)
