There seems to be some confusion about getting the GMail account through invitation floating around. Its not like this that those having an account can invite any number of people to use GMail. You get a chance to invite limited number of people once in a while. As for me, I got a chance to invite two people and the offer was immediately consumed up by eager ones around me :-)
